SOUTH CENTRAL ENGLAND

It was very inspirational – the delivery of the sessions was interesting and well prepared. Very engaging activities with fantastic results at the end of the sessions. Lots of positive praise! Thank you.
C. Lepeltter
French Teacher, Baylis Court School

The progress I saw the students make in less than three hours was amazing. In ‘top set’ they were much more aware of their strengths and what to do to improve further. The trainer gave some really useful hints and tips about tone, use of voice, how to generate interest, position and using threes. Her praise and ability to get the best out of the girls was to be commended. No matter what she herself was feeling she just kept smiling. That made the students feel much more comfortable and confident to take risks. All the feedback from staff and students was very positive.
Janet Davis
Assistant Headteacher, Challney High School for Girls

Really well delivered. It was well structured, encouraging and entertaining. It was so much more than public speaking training as it linked well with issues such as self-esteem and resilience.

Thank you so much to you team for the superb Oracy Day you provided for all our new Year 7 students on Thursday 7th September. I was so impressed with all the sessions I visited and your Trainers were of an extremely high standard and ensured every child was engaged and challenged to develop such essential life as well as employability skills.

I have had such positive feedback from staff, students as well as parents who have already written in to say how positive their children had been when they came home after the sessions. I sincerely look forward to our future collaboration and future sessions for students across all year groups.  I am extremely proud of my team for having engaged you.
Michael Jones
Headteacher, Holmer Green Senior School

The workshops provided a valuable opportunity for our students to develop their confidence and skills in public speaking. The trainers related very well to our students, quickly generating rapport and brought the best out of them. The activities and techniques were carefully planned and executed. The students grew in confidence during the day and saw the value of the programme.
David Harding
Deputy Headteacher, Langley Grammar School

Have to say, if anyone had told me at the start of the day, that the students would produce speeches of the quality they did, just 5 hours later, I'd have said they were delusional...! Phenomenal results!
Rachel Owens
English Teacher, Langley Grammar School

The Talk The Talk session was excellent today. The pupils demonstrably improved their verbal and non-verbal communication skills. They were engaged and enjoyed the day immensely.
Edward Lloyd
History Teacher, Oasis Academy Enfield

Really insightful and well structured. A good mix of pair, individual, group and whole class work. Well developed with excellent structure and strong personable delivery.
Natasha Warren

Talk the Talk provided a workshop that was hugely beneficial to our students. The atmosphere on the day was relaxed and allowed our students to work outside of their comfort zone and improve their communication skills across a variety of topics.
Joanne Harper
Principal, UTC Reading

The training was excellent and very relevant. For what can often be a threatening activity the students engaged immediately. It was well paced and graduated and the activities were accessible to all. Even our most shy and reluctant were able and to take part. There was a lot of helpful and structured criticism for the students to act upon immediately.
Anna Gilby
Teacher, Rickmansworth School

Very entertaining and engaging. The objectives were all met, as the trainer was extremely charismatic in his explanation of what was expected. As a result, the students were very confident by the end of the session. The games were also really engaging and provided useful breaks. Students who would not normally engage or stay in a room did so. An outstanding trainer.
Anais Wo Kai Song
MFL Teacher, St Crispin’s School

Very well received by students who enjoyed the session. It brought a lot out of their shell through humour and subject knowledge – well done!
Jennifer Burwell
Psychology Leader, Waingels College

The workshop was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed by both members of staff and students. The presenter was engaging, supportive and the got the best out of the students.  During the session you were able to see the students grow in confidence and gain respect for others that they may never have spoken to. Even the students who were not keen at the beginning of the day joined in and achieved a great deal by the end. I think that the trainer made the day.  The students really responded well to him and he knew what to say to move them forwards.
Lisa Williams
Assistant Principal, Watford UTC

The students clearly found the session engaging and were able to safely push themselves out of their comfort zones. This was a tough mix of students who do not always get on well, but they clearly found this a safe learning environment.
D. Calvin

The trainer was extremely radiant and encouraged the students throughout the session. She gave the students multiple chances to speak publicly – differentiating for those who felt uncomfortable.
Eleanor Martin

Fantastic trainer – really engaged a difficult group and it was lovely seeing the confidence of the students grow.

A really well structured session which gave all the students a range of tools to make them more confident speakers and that they can take to the classroom. Thoroughly enjoyable.
Rebecca Radford
